Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. This role emphasizes hands-on repair and continuous learning.

You will train and guide technicians, stay current with new automotive technology, and participate in a capped bonus structure tied to performance. ASE certifications are encouraged and compensation reflects regional pay.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing brake and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.
• ASE certifications (A.S.E.) preferred; 3- to 5-year track record helpful.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
