Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team for improved customer care and satisfaction.

You will use your leadership and technical skills to keep up with evolving automotive technology and maintain high repair quality, with a performance-based pay model and opportunities for ASE certification advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer/company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair, alignment, steering and suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Attend ASE tests; company covers fees; bonus for passed tests.
