Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Nashville, TN seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to lead a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems, while staying current with evolving automotive tech and pursuing ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical customers.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications; tests may be company-paid.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through formal training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and mentor technicians to improve team performance.
• Work towards ASE certifications within first two years.
