Job summary

SMC Ltd. in the global medical market is seeking a Working leader of the Automation team who supports New Program Development and Operations by supervising activities to develop robust automation solutions and maintain existing equipment.

The role requires leading cross functional teams, guiding staff through coaching and development, and ensuring safety and quality while delivering cost effective automation for projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Experience supervising technical personnel with a minimum of 5 years’ automation experience, preferably in plastics or medical industries.
Demonstrated ability to positively motivate team members.
Demonstrated ability to support employee development on relevant skills.
Ability to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, evaluating and solving problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the automation team to develop robust automation solutions.
Support New Program Development and Operations through supervision of required activities.
Maintain existing automation equipment and processes and pursue improvement opportunities.
Provide cost effective technical solutions to gain competitive advantages.
