Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead the design of custom automated production equipment from concept to completion.

You will manage resources, coordinate internal and external design teams, and ensure milestones align with client specifications and budget. Your role involves applying robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, hydraulics, and controls knowledge to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall design of a custom automated machine contracted for a client.
• Lead a team of Design Engineers and outside contractors on larger projects.
• Manage resources and break down design effort into tasks with timeline and milestones.
• Communicate project status regularly to customers and management.
