Job summary

EchoStar Corporation is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to design and drive test automation across Video/OTT platforms, improve lab operations, and scale QA across complex networks. This role focuses on developing automated test frameworks, managing lab infrastructure, and ensuring robust release quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience in software test automation, QA engineering, or lab infrastructure management.
• Experience developing automated test suites and integrating test execution into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term roadmap for video automation frameworks and regression suites across Video/OTT client platforms.
• Manage Dish Commercial OnStream lab operations, device allocation, network governance, maintenance, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate test execution across regular release cycles, triage field tickets, analyze logs, and minimize flaky tests.
• Incorporate AI‑driven testing tools to optimize test virtualization and execution efficiency.
• Deliver release status, capacity planning, and test metrics to development, field support, and leadership.
