Job summary

EchoStar Corporation is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to lead end-to-end testing across software and hardware integrations in a multi-device ecosystem. You will establish QA strategies, leverage AI-driven testing, and drive automation and test coverage across projects.

Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams, mentor junior engineers, and report quality metrics to leadership while maintaining high standards and on-time releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or similar quality functions
• Software testing lifecycles (STLC) and formal QA methodologies
• Manual testing experience with Android and Linux, using Jira for defect tracking
• Multi-device software and hardware integration testing
• Fundamental programming concepts and development practices

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute comprehensive QA strategies to validate integrated software and hardware systems across complex environments
• Optimize existing QA workflows and leverage automated testing tools and AI-driven testing frameworks to maximize testing efficiency and coverage
• Monitor, analyze, and report critical quality metrics directly to leadership and executive stakeholders to guide release decisions
• Partner with development, product, and operations teams to align quality assurance initiatives with cross-functional project goals
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing technical guidance to cultivate testing competencies and elevate team performance
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing across multi-device systems to verify overall system stability and performance
