Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Principal AI & Automation Engineer to lead the evolution of our QA platform. Architect intelligent, self-adaptive test automation frameworks for cloud-native, microservices-based broadband systems, combining AI/ML-driven testing with deep automation expertise.

You will drive autonomous testing strategies across DOCSIS and PON features, integrate QA into DevOps/MLOps pipelines, and mentor engineers in modern QA practices and Python architecture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux/Ubuntu, CLI tooling, and scripting (Python, Go, Shell).
• Experience with traffic generation, network test tools, and end-to-end system performance testing.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (logs, metrics, tracing) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, AI-augmented test automation frameworks for functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Design self-healing and adaptive test systems using AI/ML techniques.
• Embed QA in SDLC and production monitoring pipelines with shift-left/right approaches.
• Develop data-driven and model-based testing leveraging telemetry and production data.
• Lead automation for cloud-native, microservices DOCSIS/PON platforms at scale.
• Collaborate to translate requirements into intelligent automation assets.
