Job summary
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a self-motivated maintenance and automation controls lead to supervise essential maintenance activities in a highly automated baking or distribution facility. You will apply electrical and controls expertise to improve reliability and performance.
The role requires experience with Rockwell Automation hardware and software, PLCs, HMIs, and networked control systems, plus strong problem solving and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment within the South Bend
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years in automation.
- Experience with Rockwell PLCs, HMI and networking in a food/packaged goods environment.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise maintenance activities in a highly automated facility.
- Provide automation controls support and PLC/HMI programming guidance.
- Lead predictive and preventive maintenance initiatives and cost-saving projects.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering and IT for network and firmware updates.
