Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to design, develop, and integrate controls and robotic systems for custom automation solutions. You will design electrical panels, write PLC software, and collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure seamless system performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical and software design for automation, robotics, or industrial equipment.
• Experience designing and supporting automation equipment with new processes and technologies.
• Proficiency in ECAD and Automation Software; strong PLC background.

Responsabilités

• Design electrical panels and software for automation equipment, including tooling, fixtures, robotic cells, and custom machines.
• Create schematics and diagrams using ECAD.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
• Program and configure controls and automation devices.
• Design, program and integrate robotic systems, including external axes.
• Provide production support to improve reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver complete solutions.
• Ensure designs meet safety, manufacturability, codes, and guidelines.
• Support project life cycle, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer interface.
• Research and apply new devices and technologies to improve performance and cost-effectiveness.
