Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Lead Agent Engineer, Operations Excellence Enablement in Kansas City to own end-to-end automation, agent, and AI-enabled solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, ML, Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise automation, agent-based, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of automation platforms, agent technologies, integrations, and solution architecture.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Proven ability to work with business partners and technical teams to deliver outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own problem-to-solution delivery from discovery through design, build, deployment, and optimization.
• Build production-ready automation, agent, and AI-enabled solutions using enterprise low-code platforms as primary tooling.
• Apply engineering fundamentals: integrations, data modeling, error handling, performance considerations.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead solution design decisions for complex initiatives and educate team members on new capabilities.
• Partner with Operational Excellence Enablement and Lean Six Sigma Black Belts to align design with optimized processes.
