Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Lead Agent Engineer in Operations Excellence Enablement to blend hands-on building with solution design, delivering automation and AI-enabled solutions end-to-end. You will work directly with business partners to understand problems, outcomes, and constraints, then apply deep expertise across low-code platforms, engineering concepts, and AI technologies to build the right solution.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise automation, agent-based, or AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong understanding of automation platforms, agent technologies, integrations, and solution architecture.
• Experience translating business and process requirements into technical designs.
• Proven ability to work directly with business partners and technical teams to deliver outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own problem-to-solution delivery, from discovery through deployment and optimization.
• Hands-on solution building using low-code platforms and engineering fundamentals.
• Serve as the team’s solution expert on automation, agent, low-code, and AI technologies.
• Define standards, patterns, and best practices for building and operating automation and AI-enabled solutions.
