Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor a team, and drive customer care. The role rewards skilled technicians with flat-rate pay and opportunities for ASE certification funding.

The position requires 5 years of automotive repair experience, ASE certs across A1–A8 (L1 allowed), and strong communication with customers and team members. Located in a busy service environment.

Qualifications

• A.S.E. certifications in five of A1–A8 within two years.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• 5 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent.
• A.S.E. certification in at least 3 of A1–A8 (L1 allowed); brakes & steering/suspension preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, primary/advanced fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in five of A1–A8 within two years.
