Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is hiring a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The position emphasizes leadership, ongoing training, and a commitment to safety and quality in automotive service.

You will work within a structured pay model with goal of achieving ASE certifications and delivering excellent service in a full-time retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair and alignment/suspension.
• Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; exam fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
