Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team to improve customer care. The role offers paid training, competitive pay, and a path toward ASE certifications.

You will diagnose complex vehicle issues, mentor junior technicians, and stay current with industry advancements through formal training. A strong focus on service quality and safety guides daily work.

Qualifications

• Brakes diagnosis/repair experience required.
• Alignment and suspension diagnosis/repair skills essential.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Strong ability to explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Current federal, state and local certifications/licenses as applicable.
• Excellent reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers test fees and may bonus for passing tests.
