Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to mentor a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on expertise in braking, alignment, and electrical diagnostics, with ongoing training opportunities. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a drive to advance ASE certifications, with a pathway to greater responsibility within Bridgestone BSRO.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake & hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension & alignment, A/C & computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment; tests paid by the company; bonuses for tests passed.
