Job summary

Pep Boys in Henderson, NV seeks a Master Technician with proven diagnostic and repair skills to service drivability, A/C and electrical systems. You will lead a shop team, mentor junior technicians, and communicate clearly with customers about problems and proposed solutions.

This role requires ASE certifications (A1–A8), 5+ years experience, and a valid driver's license. You will work a full-time schedule, including days/nights/weekends, while upholding safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• 8+ ASE certifications preferred (A1–A8).
• 609 Certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or non-mechanical staff as needed.
• Mentor and assist fellow technicians; maintain shop organization and cleanliness.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies.
