Job summary

Crash Champions is hiring for a collision repair technician at our Lakeway area location. You will examine damaged vehicles, plan repair sequences, and work with teammates to ensure on-time completion while prioritizing safety and quality.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to supervise apprentices is essential. The role requires frame machine use, knowledge of manufacturer processes, and I-CAR welding certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs with on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical and hydraulic window equipment, and trim to gain access.
• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
