Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to assess damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and coordinate with teammates to maintain on-time delivery across our 650+ locations. This role involves hands-on body repair, using frame equipment, and following safety procedures.

The position requires knowledge of manufacturer repair processes and I-CAR welding certification; you will participate in ongoing safety meetings and guide apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, components and trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
