Drive Internal Audit in meeting departmental objectives and support the Company’s achievement of its business goals. We are seeking an independent self-starter to manage various projects, including evaluating our data landscape through operational, financial, SOX compliance, or other investigations. The role involves developing reports and analyses leveraging various data sources and leading the Internal Audit team in expanding data analytic skills across visualization tools.

Ideal candidates will have a successful track record of creating reports and performing complex analyses using modern data technologies like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, and related cloud offerings.

This position is segmented as Hybrid, with three onsite days per week and the remainder remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Snr Manager of IT Audit in developing and implementing the data analytics strategy for the Internal Audit Department.
2. Contribute to department strategies, including control identification and testing.
3. Manage objectives, scope, time, budget, and resources for data analytics audit projects.
4. Create analyses and reports for internal and cross-functional departments based on findings and recommendations.
5. Ensure quality deliverables and focus on client service for audit projects.
6. Provide expert advice to management to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
7. Collaborate with data architects and engineers to analyze data, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
8. Provide ongoing training to staff and seniors on data analytics techniques and tools.
9. Develop expertise in data analytics and technical accounting topics.
10. Overnight travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications:

Education/Training:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP are preferred.

Related Experience/Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years in data analytics, visualization, management, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of audit experience.
• Leadership experience is required; public accounting experience is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in data mining, cleansing, profiling, and modeling.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data pipelines and tools.
• Ability to work in agile environments as a team member and leader.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with technologies like Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, and Knime.
