Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Six years' experience in student personnel/services, college or university administration, or related field.
• Strongly preferred: Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, education, counseling, social sciences, law, public administration, or related field.
• Experience administering or overseeing student conduct, academic integrity, alternative-resolution, restorative, or comparable institutional processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of Duke University’s undergraduate student conduct system.
• Ensure conduct processes are administered equitably and in compliance with policies and laws (Title IX, FERPA, Clery).
• Oversee the full lifecycle of conduct matters from intake to closure.
• Serve as a hearing officer and facilitate conduct panels.
• Prepare comprehensive written decisions, reports, and communications.
