Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our Large Projects Group in Dallas, TX. This role supports the Superintendent by managing field activities and supervising subcontractors and employees to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The position emphasizes safety, quality control, and adherence to project specifications and company policies, with OSHA training requirements every four years and STS certification consideration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred and 4–7 years of experience.
• Must sign up for OSHA courses within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates subcontractor and Balfour Beatty Construction field personnel in designated areas of expertise.
• Assists Superintendent in communicating expectations on schedules, methods, safety, and company policies.
• Ensures project site and assets are secure and safety, sustainability, quality control standards are followed.
• Attends weekly project progress meetings to understand upcoming work.
• Assists in finalizing closeout and demobilization of resources.
