Community Mainstreaming Associates is seeking an Assistant Residence Manager to lead daily operations in residential settings in Westbury, NY. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, supervise staff, and coordinate schedules to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include compliance with OPWDD, implementing habilitation plans, managing finances, and monitoring safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credits; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with individuals with I/DD.
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and residential service requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily residence operations and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations.
• Support habilitation plan implementation and address residents' goals.
• Oversee personal allowances, finances, and related documentation.
• Monitor medication administration for accuracy and safety.
• Promote health, safety, independence, and personal choice.
• Assist with training, supervision, and evaluation of direct support staff.
• Help create and adjust weekly staff schedules.
• Review program documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide Direct Support Professional duties as needed for coverage.
• Complete incident reports and respond to emergencies professionally.
