Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, guide others, and ensure timely, safe service.

You will help manage inventory, financial accountability, and safety, while delivering quality food and maintaining a positive work environment for the team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Basic business math and accounting with strong analytical skills.
• Able to sweep, mop, and handle trash disposal.
• Able to clean parking lot and restaurant surroundings.
• Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stoop for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner and maintain a safe environment.
