Job summary

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and upholding Charter Foods standards.

You will take ownership, guide Team Members and Shift Managers, manage inventory and financial accountability, and ensure safe, quality food is delivered to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a safe environment for staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Able to sweep/mop, dust, lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Able to clean exterior areas around the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards.
• Take ownership and guide Team Members and Shift Managers.
• Ensure duties are completed, manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner and maintain a safe environment.
