Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting leadership roles.
• Experience at large companies with revenue over $100K.
• Proven mentoring and staff development skills.
• Strong Excel skills and robust accounting systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Self-starter, problem-solver and independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor staff of three accountants.
• Manage day-to-day and month-end US/Canada general accounting.
• Prepare financial statements and analytical reports.
• Review journal entries and GL reconciliations.
• Analyze variances between budget and actuals.
• Assist with forecasts and budgets.
• Lead system initiatives including robotic process automation.
• Coordinate with operations, Corporate, Treasury, Tax, and other departments.
• Support external audits and SEC filings.
• Participate in system implementations and process improvements using AI and Six Sigma.
