Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in the Davenport, IA and Moline, IL area. You will lead guest engagement, oversee cake production, and uphold brand standards while partnering with the Bakery Manager.

You’ll help recruit and train team members, manage daily tasks, and contribute to scheduling, inventory, and payroll activities. A strong guest focus and adaptable leadership style are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Leads all aspects of guest experience, cake production, and merchandising with the Bakery Manager.
• Supports recruiting, training, and coaching, directing daily work responsibilities.
• Willing to work at both Davenport, IA and Moline, IL locations.
• Ensures product, service, bakery standards, and health-safety compliance.
• Assists in scheduling, supply orders, reporting, and payroll processes.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for guests and corporate accounts.
• Assists in opening/closing duties including cash handling and deposits.
• Contributes to local marketing events and brand-building activities.
• Maintains knowledge of bakery roles to support operations as needed.
