Job summary

Aerotek seeks an Assembler (1st Shift) in Tempe, AZ, for a contract-to-hire role at a Mesa-area facility. You will perform advanced mechanical assembly, train junior assemblers, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional overtime. The position offers a competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in assembly/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents (drawings/schematics).
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and mentor junior team members.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex assembly tasks and subassemblies.
• Coach and train lower-level assemblers on techniques and safety.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Review and improve assembly processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers/designers to resolve issues.
• Perform final quality inspections and testing.
