Job summary

BrixPavingNorthwestInc is hiring a skilled Asphalt Milling Operator to support paving projects across the Boise metro area. This hands-on role involves operating milling machinery to remove asphalt pavement safely and efficiently, and transporting heavy equipment using lowboy trailers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in asphalt grinding operations required.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years'' experience driving lowboy trailers preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt milling machines with precision and safety.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Transport heavy machinery and milling equipment using lowboy trailers.
• Communicate with project foremen and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Load and unload machinery safely and within DOT and company guidelines.
• Follow traffic control, environmental, and safety procedures on jobsites.
• Work flexible hours to accommodate day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Contribute to a respectful and team-oriented work environment.
