Job summary

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking an experienced Paving Foreman to lead daily asphalt operations in the field. You will direct crews, coordinate equipment, and ensure work meets project specs and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on paving experience, strong field leadership, and the ability to manage crews and equipment in a fast-paced construction environment. Travel to multiple job sites may be required and overtime may be needed to meet schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous asphalt paving experience required.
• Experience leading paving crews strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, elevations.
• Strong communication and safety leadership.
• Willing to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise paving crews during daily field operations.
• Assign responsibilities based on project needs and daily goals.
• Provide clear direction and ensure responsibilities are understood.
• Coordinate daily paving activities including prep, asphalt placement, grading, rolling, compaction, cleanup.
• Monitor crew performance and productivity.
• Train crew members on paving techniques, equipment operation, safety, and company standards.
• Maintain a professional, safe work environment and accountability.
• Assist with paving and equipment operation to maintain production.
