Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Principal Electrical/Computer Engineer to lead design, implementation, and verification of advanced testbenches for high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs. You will drive verification strategy for Mission Systems programs within the Microelectronics Technology team, and provide technical leadership to project teams.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and extensive experience with SystemVerilog/VHDL in ASIC/FPGA environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
• Proven RTL verification experience using VHDL/Verilog in FPGA/ASIC.
• Experience building verification testbenches and coverage with SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Design verification environment using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM.
• Create test plans, test cases, and coverage tracking.
• Develop testbenches for RTL blocks using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Suggest tools and practices to improve ASIC/FPGA verification flows.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new programs.
• Provide technical leadership for verification teams.
