Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) in Anchorage, AK, is seeking a Supply Technician to support daily receipt, inspection, accountability, storage, and processing of Army equipment at a contractor-operated site.

The role ensures compliance with Army regulations, maintains records in GCSS-Army and related systems, and assists in audits and inspections while handling warehousing tasks and MHE operation. Must pass background checks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of logistics, warehousing, or supply experience (Army or contractor environment preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Army logistical functions and supply regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5).
• Ability to obtain CAC and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Turn-In & Receiving Operations: process equipment and materiel turn-ins from Army units.
• Verify turn-in documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain records in Army logistics systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP).
• Coordinate with QA, transportation, and supervisors for timely processing.
• Warehousing & Material Handling: store and organize equipment; operate MHE as required.
