Job summary

ECM Consultants, an Aventia Company, seeks a full-time Architect to lead architectural work on construction projects from planning through completion in Metairie, LA. You will develop designs, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, bid documents, and client reviews while ensuring compliance with standards.

You will guide the project team and maintain strong client relationships throughout. The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, state licensure, 10+ years of experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as an architect within a construction-related field.
• Must supervise all members of the team involved in the project.
• Licensed Architect in the State of Louisiana.
• Experience with state and public-sector projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• NCARB Certification.
• LEED Green Associate certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop designs that meet project requirements and objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Lead project teams to ensure successful execution from planning and design through construction completion.
• Coordinate activities across all project disciplines to maintain alignment with project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in project meetings and provide leadership throughout all phases of project delivery.
• Review documented technical requirements, development plans, and project specifications to ensure adherence to defined standards.
• Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Monitor project progress and address challenges to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain project architecture databases and documentation.
