Citizens Bank seeks a Distinguished Engineer to lead enterprise identity, security, and AI capabilities. You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, and product teams to design scalable identity frameworks across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of hands-on software/identity/security engineering experience.
• Expertise designing and implementing IAM/CIAM architectures (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, token-based security).
• Experience securing machine identities, service accounts, workloads, cloud-native platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams and architects to design identity/security solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
• Lead design, development, and implementation of platforms, services, and security capabilities at enterprise scale.
• Mentor and influence senior engineering teams; communicate complex concepts to executives and stakeholders.
• Define governance frameworks for AI agents, NHIs, and machine identities; ensure compliance and security.
