Job summary

Berkshire Bank is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to help engineer, architect, and enhance security technologies across identity, access, data, and cloud security. You will collaborate with IT, risk, and compliance teams to protect systems, customers, and employees.

The role requires extensive experience in information security, regulated banking environments, and AI security controls, with leadership responsibilities and a focus on expanding security governance and incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS, IT, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in information security or related roles; 3+ years in regulated financial environment preferred.
• Experience with Entra ID, AD, PAM, email/endpoint security, cloud and data security.
• Experience securing AI ecosystems and implementing AI security controls.

Responsibilities

• Administer and enhance enterprise information security technologies and platforms.
• Lead design and implementation of security architecture and engineering programs.
• Mentor security engineering staff and provide strategic direction.
• Maintain security standards across identities, networks, endpoints, and data.
• Collaborate on AI security architecture, risk management, and governance.
