Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead identity, security, and AI capabilities at scale. You will architect NHIs, AI agents, and workload identities, driving secure enterprise patterns across cloud, SaaS, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

You will partner with engineering, architecture, security, and product teams to advance governance, authentication, and authorization models, shaping Citizens' next generation identity strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• Proven experience designing and implementing modern authentication architectures.
• Experience securing machine identities, cloud native platforms, APIs, and distributed ecosystems.
• Strong leadership and ability to communicate complex tech concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and secure implementation of identity and security solutions.
• Architect enterprise NHIs, AI agents, service accounts, and workload identities.
• Define governance for machine identities, credential security, and privileged access.
• Collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, and product teams.
