Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead Agentic Identity, Non Human Identities, and secure AI ecosystems. You will partner with engineering, architecture, security, and product teams to define enterprise strategy and deliver scalable identity solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes authentication/authorization models, machine identity governance, and mentoring senior teams to advance secure, autonomous technologies at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands on software/identity/security engineering or related fields.
• Deep expertise in IAM/CIAM and machine identities including workloads and services.
• Experience designing authn/authz with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, tokens, and API security.
• Experience securing cloud-native platforms, APIs, and distributed apps.
• Strong cloud experience across hybrid environments. Proficient in Python and another modern language.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and ability to communicate to executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and vision for enterprise identity, NHIs, and secure AI ecosystems.
• Lead design and delivery of scalable identity platforms and security capabilities.
• Guide governance for machine identities, credentials, and privileged access.
• Architect secure authentication/authorization models across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence architectural direction.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
