Job summary

Wright Tree Service seeks an experienced supervisor to lead a line clearance crew in daily operations. You will plan work, assign tasks, ensure safety, and coordinate with customers to access work areas near power lines.

The role requires at least 3 years on tree trimming crews, leadership skills, and knowledge of ANSI safety standards. You will train new staff and maintain accurate crew records while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• Strong leadership and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of trees, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques near energized conductors.
• Familiarity with ANSI Z133.1-2000 standards.
• Ability to communicate professionally with the public and colleagues.
• Commitment to on-the-job safety practices and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a line clearance crew and plans daily work for the crew.
• Assigns work and directs crew according to line clearance practices; works independently as needed.
• Ensures safety training and adherence to company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners and coordinates with customers.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and reports of completed work and crew performance.
• Trains new employees on proper procedures and safety.
