Job summary

HEICO Corporation is seeking an Applications Engineer Lead to design and improve customer solutions, lead a project team, and coordinate cross-functional activities from concept through production. You will work with CAD tools, prepare quotations, and mentor staff.

The role requires collaboration with sales, OEM engineers, and procurement to ensure successful implementation and cost-effective design changes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent; required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members.
• Provide engineering support to sales.
• Train customers and employees on company products.
• Collaborate with OEM mechanical, electrical, and compliance engineers to implement solutions.
• Incorporate changes into drawings, tooling and specs.
• Design new products from concept to production.
• Develop cost estimates, proposals and quotations.
• Develop processes to produce company products.
• Design products in CAD.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvements.
• Validate ERP updates across production, purchasing, sales and ECNs.
