Job summary

Heitek Automation, a SunSource company, seeks an Application Engineering Manager to lead the Application Engineering team, partner with sales, and elevate technical value through white papers, videos, and training. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and collaborates with Materials, Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Periodically travel to different branches to do joint sales calls with the application team and work on application sales tactics
• Track and monitor partner certification requirements and make they are met on a quarterly basis
• Provide plan’s for when changes to the team require you to catch up on certifications
• Define a tracking and reporting method for utilization on application engineering supported sales calls
• Collaborate with marketing to drive SIPEC initiatives across the organization
• Define and drive generation of white papers and technical videos of core products
