Job summary

Ex is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business operations with IT by owning applications, coordinating enhancements, and leading UAT. The role requires 5+ years of end-to-end experience across enterprise systems and a strong grasp of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall, and data governance.

You will collaborate with Cyber Security, IT Audit, and Helpdesk to ensure secure access, compliance, and proper documentation while delivering value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in roles with end-to-end ownership of enterprise business systems.
• Experience leading small projects or enhancements using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methods.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA, UAT, and system integration best practices.
• Collaborating with IT Helpdesk, Cyber Security, and IT Audit on access management and SOX evidence is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Proven stakeholder management, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience in media/sports/entertainment/live events preferred.
• CSM or PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with .NET or JAVA development including debugging with dev teams.

Responsibilities

• Application Ownership: serve as SME for applications within the business systems portfolio and improve data quality.
• Delivery of enhancements and small projects aligned with priorities and timelines.
• Lead UAT activities, coordinate defect resolution, secure business approval before implementation.
• Manage or coordinate access provisioning with IT Helpdesk and track access requests.
• Provide Level 2 application support and coordinate escalations for outages.
• Partner with Cyber Security on risk remediation and maintain SOX evidence with IT Audit.
• Develop user guides, conduct training workshops, and cross-train support teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, data quality, and processes.
