Job description

This position collaborates with others in the division to provide and maintain applications to meet business needs. Responsible for design and development of complex and/or large-scale business solutions, providing technical guidance and leadership for specific applications.

Position Compensation Range: $128,000.00 - $216,000.00

Pay Rate Type: Salary

Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Primary Accountabilities

1. Provides expertise during project initiation, including estimating resources, skills, time, and identifying tools and technologies; participates in proof of concepts.
2. Analyzes high-level system specifications, business requirements, and use cases; converts information into detailed specifications and system design plans.
3. Understands and identifies system dependencies.
4. Consults with stakeholders to validate complex design decisions; provides advanced coding expertise to address high-risk features or technical challenges.
5. Prepares documentation for design decisions, assumptions, code modules, and performance metrics as per organizational standards.
6. Defines, conducts, mentors, and participates in testing phases; leads development walkthroughs.
7. Collaborates on system flow, data usage, and process effectiveness to verify requirements.

Travel and Physical Requirements

Travel up to 10%. Primarily sedentary work involving sitting and standing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years in scalable, high-performing application development for large enterprises.
• 5+ years in Payments domain, with knowledge of payment processing, wallet management, and third-party integrations.
• Experience in performance tuning, SDLC practices, and cloud-native designs, especially AWS.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines.
