Responsibilities

• Diriger les activités de pré-mise en service et de mise en service pour des projets assignés de systèmes d'entraînement à vitesse variable.
• Exécuter le test de performance pour remplir les obligations contractuelles.
• Travailler avec l'équipe de services pour répondre aux besoins des clients pendant la phase de garantie.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for assigned variable frequency drive system projects for End Users, EPCs, and Project OEM Customers
• Lead site commissioning activities and/or execute commissioning on all ABB-supplied equipment, including third-party supplied equipment consisting of ABB low and medium voltage VFDs, induction and synchronous motors, motor excitation control panels (MCP), multi-pulse VFD transformers, coolers, switchgear, synchronous bypass units (SBU), MCCs, E-houses, safe line systems, snubbers, lubrication skids, distribution transformers, and PLCs.
• Work with our service team to support the customers’ needs during the warranty phase and hand over the service responsibilities at the end of the warranty as well as support our internal commissioning quotation process covering technical and commercial aspects of proposals.
• Execute performance testing to fulfill contractual obligations and will finalize all commissioning documentation at the conclusion, including correcting all redlined drawings and transferring finalized documentation and notices to the involved parties.

Qualifications

• Associate of Electrical Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in related areas, e.g., Project Engineering, Technical Support, Application Engineering, Test Engineering, Field Service, Commissioning.
• Strong technical knowledge of medium voltage variable speed drive system equipment and applications. Commercial astuteness.
• Willing to travel (60% or more)
