Job description

***While this position is remote, candidates must live in East Dallas, TX***

With safety as the top priority, the incumbent will be responsible for the VERIFI equipment suite, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

The candidate will perform troubleshooting services to help customers resolve issues and maximize their potential from our solutions. The technician will be the primary VERIFI representative at the concrete manufacturing plant, installing and maintaining Verifi concrete management systems on customer mixer trucks and admixture dispensing systems as needed.

The VERIFI Field Service Technician will regularly interface with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance personnel.

Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only VERIFI employee at customer sites, requiring independence.

Schedule flexibility is necessary. Field visits may occur late at night or early in the morning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of computer systems configuration, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical (12/24 volt DC), and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, especially in record-keeping.
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, meters, and gauges.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and wear a respirator, complying with safety policies.
  • Must meet DOT requirements for a Non CDL driver, including medical certification, drug screening, and background checks.
  • Flexible work hours, including overnight travel and emergency responses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in field service work.
  • Knowledge of the Ready Mix Concrete industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair

  • Review system performance reports, troubleshoot, and coordinate problem resolution, serving as the primary contact for customers.
  • Perform installation, preventive and scheduled maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs on equipment and admixture dispensing systems.

Customer Relations

  • Support sales efforts through building professional customer relationships.
  • Maintain sound judgment and professional communication.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction to meet corporate goals.

Planning & Scheduling

  • Self-dispatch and independent planning of daily, weekly, and monthly service activities.
  • Interact with internal and external customers regularly, managing response times and technical support.

Equipment Service Administration

  • Proficient in computer use for ordering, inventory, expense reporting, scheduling, and CRM systems.

Other Duties

  • Complete safety and online training modules.
  • Develop understanding of concrete industry operations.
  • Provide feedback on equipment reliability and participate in R&D activities.
