Job description

***While this position is remote, candidates must live in East Dallas, TX***

With safety as the top priority, the incumbent will be responsible for the VERIFI equipment suite including installation, maintenance, and repair.

The candidate will perform troubleshooting services to aid customers in resolving issues and help them achieve maximum potential from our solutions. The technician will be the primary VERIFI representative at the concrete manufacturing plant. They will install and maintain Verifi concrete management systems on customer mixer trucks and admixture dispensing systems as needed.

The VERIFI Field Service Technician will regularly interface with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance personnel.

Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only VERIFI employee at customer sites, requiring independence.

Schedule flexibility is required. Field visits may be scheduled late at night or early morning.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer systems configuration, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with good record-keeping.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools, meters, gauges.
• High School Diploma required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to wear a respirator and comply with facial hair policy.
• Meet DOT requirements for a Non CDL driver medical certification, drug screening, background check.
• Flexible work hours, overnight travel.
• Respond promptly to project work and emergency calls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in field service work.
• Knowledge of the Ready Mix Concrete industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair

• Analyze system performance reports, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, serving as the customer liaison.
• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and emergency repairs on equipment.

Customer Relations

• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Communicate effectively and professionally, understanding customer satisfaction's importance.

Planning & Scheduling

• Self-dispatch, diagnosing and planning daily, weekly, monthly activities.
• Interact with internal and external customers daily, managing response times.
• Respond to customer requests, diagnose, and provide on-site assistance.

Equipment Service Administration

• Proficient with computers for ordering, reporting, scheduling, and tracking costs.

Other Duties

• Complete safety and online training modules.
• Develop understanding of concrete industry operations.
• Recommend modifications to improve equipment reliability, collaborate with R&D.
