Job summary

Bridgeview Village Apartments is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our downtown Charleston community. You will lead a maintenance team, plan and schedule activities, and oversee repairs of building systems to ensure reliable operations.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years in maintenance management, with EPA and a valid driver’s license. The role is full-time, in-person, with a standard 40-hour schedule and benefits that include health, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of maintenance management experience is required.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication within a team and with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop maintenance staff, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities for optimal efficiency.
• Oversee repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and low voltage issues.
• Ensure safety regulations and procedures are followed.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and records.
