Job summary

Weinstein Properties seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for the Austin, TX area. The role leads the service team to keep Bexley at Tech Ridge (342 units) well-maintained, coordinating repairs, inventory, and vendor work while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Applicants need 4+ years in trade work with supervisory exposure, EPA/CFC certification, and a valid driver’s license. On-call rotation is required and benefits include a sign-on bonus and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of trade-related experience with at least 1 year in apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of building maintenance, systems, and equipment.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license and ability to transport tools; DMV/background checks will be conducted.
• Proficiency with business software to assign/manage work orders and communicate via email.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate activities of the service team to maintain property upkeep and repairs.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work; oversee inventory and turns.
• Diagnose problems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related trades; ensure quality workmanship.
• Share on-call rotation with teammates and respond to emergencies as needed.
