Job summary

Weinstein Properties is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Austin, TX area to lead the service team, oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs, and uphold high customer‑service standards. You will schedule turns, manage work orders, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining occupancy and rent levels.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in trade maintenance with at least 1 year in supervisory roles, EPA/CFC certification, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of trade-related experience with at least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance.
• EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and personal tools.
• Willingness to share on-call duties with team members.
• DMV and background/criminal check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team on duties such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural work, and appliances.
• Diagnose problems and schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work, including on-call rotations.
• Maintain high occupancy and rent levels by following professional maintenance practices, quality control, and company policies and procedures.
• Use business software to assign and manage work orders, schedule turns, order supplies, and communicate via email.
