Windsor at Legacy in Plano, TX is seeking a Service Manager to lead maintenance and on‑call operations for a 270‑unit garden community. You will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination while driving safety and resident service standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with technical training preferred.
Minimum 5 years in apartment maintenance or related field.
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory/lead role.
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
Manage work orders and close them within 24 hours; assign tasks to team members.
Prepare vacant units for new residents and coordinate vendors for make‑ready.
Respond to emergency after‑hours calls; weekend work required.
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections of equipment.
Ensure safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
Track inventory; order supplies and process invoices.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and rounds.
Provide professional resident interactions and vendor coordination.
Collaborate with property management to resolve issues.
