Job summary

UDR is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Savoye community in Addison, TX (745 units). The role oversees maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety, appearance, and efficiency within budget.

Responsibilities include leading the service team, managing work orders, and coordinating with vendors for timely repairs. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA Type II certification, at least four years in building/mechanical maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical),

Qualifications

• Minimum four years’ experience in building and mechanical maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting/drywall, and pool maintenance.
• EPA Type II certification required; pool certification may be required at some locations.
• EPA/CFC chlorine, fluorine, carbon certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident service and maintenance requests and manage work orders.
• Meet service budget and manage resources within approved budgets.
• Provide leadership, interview/orientation, and provide feedback to the District Service Manager.
• Supervise service team day-to-day activities and approve time records.
• Schedule and manage emergency repairs and vendor coordination.
• Conduct periodic inspections and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to high standards.
• Ensure safety, compliance with OSHA and company policies.
